Optimas Positions for Strategic Growth
Wood Dale, IL – June 17, 2024 – Optimas has sold Circle Bolt & Nut (CBN) to AFC Industries effective Jun 14, 2024. This sale is a key part of Optimas’ larger strategic plan, focusing on core, high-demand markets, creating greater value for large OEMs and expanding manufacturing capabilities.
Assets, customer relationships and dedicated facilities related to the CBN business will transfer to AFC Industries. Customers serviced by CBN in Elkhart, Kingston, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Suwanee, Tualatin and Tupelo distribution centers will become customers of AFC Industries. AFC Industries is a full-service industrial distributor of fasteners and C-Class components.
All other Optimas distribution centers, located throughout North America will remain unchanged, and customer service will continue without disruption. More specifically, for Optimas customers, all commercial terms and conditions will remain unchanged, including servicing locations, company registration number/office, replenishment order processing and VAT/bank information. Senior and day-to-day relationships, and their contact information, will also remain the same.
With this strategic move, Optimas can provide enhanced, tailored solutions to customers and focus on building full-service partnerships with new, long-term clients that fit the Optimas model. Optimas remains the only fastener distributor in the world with cold form manufacturing in the US, UK, and soon-to-be MX. Customers can count on Optimas to source and manufacture needed parts with regionalized expertise and local support.
Stay tuned for more Optimas announcements as the global manufacturer and distributor continues to grow and serve its customers worldwide.
